AmeriGel Wound Dressing is classified by the FDA as a hydrogel, indicated for use on "stage 1-IV pressure ulcers, venous statis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, 1st and 2nd degree burns, post surgical incisions, cuts and abrasions."
